This section is reserved for something deeply related
to heavy music, but doesn't quite fit into anything
we normally cover. This section is for politics, comedy,
related DVD's and books.
In case you're actually sitting there right now wondering
how politics and music are closely related, just think
about the lyrics to the songs in your cd collection.
Just as an example, I can think of at least 20 anti-war
songs off the top of my head. Did listening to Sabbath's
"War Pigs", Metallica's "Disposable Heroes", or High
On Fire's "Devilution" make you think at all, or am I
alone here?
From Bob Marley to the Dead Kennedys, these guys have
been trying to make us think with their music, and now
more than ever, we should be paying attention. The
music I grew up listening to has definately helped
shaped my outlook and political views, but a song can
only tell you so much, so we're going to lay it on a
little heavier in this section.
In case anyone feels like discussing anything or ranting...
