Album Rating:
Cattle Decapitation
Cattle D's new
opus, starts off with a beautiful acoustic intro that
goes directly into normal gore/grind stomp. One thing
I would like to point out, I realize this is gore/grind
and all, but at a lot of points on this album, it's so
cliche'. Like they figured they found a pattern or
formula to writing songs and stuck to it. Where's the
chance taking? Also where are the balls behind the
guitars, the production of the album is so below
standard these days, I mean you literally have to
crank up the volume to hear it. Now don't get me wrong,
this is a killer record, but I just think if they put
a lil' more time in on it, it could have been even
better. Well, sound-wise that is.
