This is the re-master of their debut that includes two bonus tracks. Darkane comes from Helsingborg, Sweden. The album was recorded and mixed in Dug Out Productions in Uppsala, Sweden at the end of '98. It was produced and mixed by the well known Daniel Bergstrand. As usual Daniel has succeeded with the production.

Christofer Malmström - guitar
Peter Wildoer - drums
Jörgen Löfberg - bass
Klas Ideberg - guitar
Lawrence Mackrory - lead vocals

Wildoer/Malmström has written all of the music and lyrics. Darkane plays very technical death metal influenced by heavy metal, especially the twin guitar attack. The songs have an enormous tempo and there is a lot of variation in every song. Peter impresses alot behind his drums, he is very hard to beat on drums and he is one of Sweden's best drummers. Lawrence is doing a good job too, he shifts between ordinary vocals and death metal vocals through every song. The band is not afraid to use more unusual things like a string section and a big choir to make the music sound fuller and to add some strength to it. They have put eleven tracks on the album and on the re-released album there’s also two bonus live tracks included which were taken from a gig at the rock club The Tivoli in their hometown of Helsingborg. Both of the songs are also on the album as a studio version, the songs are "Wisdoms Breed" and "Convicted".
Darkane has grown through the years, and has become a very respected band worldwide in their genre. All of the songs on the album are of a very high class and there is not a bad song on the album.
