This a weird mix I never really saw coming, it's kinda like if you took In Flames and mixed them with a punk band. Quick catchy hook filled verses and the choruses are all sing a longs with keyboard fills and actual singing it's hard to imagine such a thing, but don't look at it like this is the best new thing out there. Embodiment 12:14 still uses the overly used screaming not so deathmetal vocals here and there, but actual singing overrides that. A lot of the songs kinda run together as they use the same formula on most of the songs. Punk style verses with time changing blast beat riffs for the choruses, the only thing that really saves them is the actual singing. But then again having 3 people doing vocals doesn't hurt either. Look for one of the best change up breakdowns on "Choking on Fragments of Your Broken Words". Ha so emo it's not even funny, but a very imaginative breakdown. With the average song on here clocking in at 3:25 it's the best record I've heard from the ever overly exposed genre of NuMetalcore.
