Taking too many cues from such bands as Converge, 18 Visions, and the Blood Brothers, it almost makes it hard for this band to stand out in an already over-saturated genre that seems to be spawning new acts by the hour. E.T.I.D stays far too much in the middle of the genre by going with the cliche song titles and riffs, (breakdowns). They need to focus more on getting away from a fading trend and write something original. "Hot Damn" is a quality listen, but they've come along when so many acts have already laid claim to this style, hopefully next time around they will leave their scenester friends at home or maybe write a Swedish black metal album.
