Before Korn ever came along and
made downtuning popular...there was Kyuss.
Slow, sludgy, and groovin' this band is so downtuned it hurts...there's
like a wall of bass...the sound is hard to explain because I've heard
nothing like it...Actually you could compare it to Sabbath on downers.
The first track, "Thumb" is a fav, along with "Thong Song" which is
utterly bizzare.
I'd say "go check 'um out" but unfortunately this band broke up a few
years ago, and half of them are now in Queens Of The Stone Age!
