Well, I've been pretty lucky lately. I've been getting a lot of really good albums in the mail and it just don't stop. Until now. I can't pull punches on this. Lullacry sucks.
"Crucify My Heart" is what happens when you take part Lacuna Coil and In Flames, add a female vocalist and then dumb it down BIG TIME to the point that it's just plain old nu-metal. I had heard a few good things about this band, but I have yet to see it.
I can't even get a few good catchy riffs in the songs, it's just easily forgotten and boring. Plus, the vocal are nothing special. I can find plenty of other women in bands that can easily smoke this one. A word to Century Media, drop this one and make way for a band with some real teeth, cuz this one is ready for the discount bin.
