Mastodon seemed a bit off last night, perhaps just hungover...Brent's
vocals just weren't up to par in some spots, and I swear they left a
verse out of "Colony Of Birchmen". That said, these guys played for
almost 2 hours, so the $30 ticket is more than worth it, (ticketmaster
can however suck my ass for charging half a ticket worth of unnessesary
charges). Mastodon open with the ENTIRE NEW ALBUM, front to back, then
go into over a half hour of oldies, in reverse chronoligical order for
some reason. While seeing the entire new album performed live was
insane, I long to hear more stuff off "Remission" in the set, only
one is such a tease.
