Straight outta Queens, New York comes a new leader of hardcore as we know it. Seen by many as the kid brother band of Hatebreed, Jamey Jasta took Sworn Enemy under his wing and now they are one fucking diesel kid brother. Holding down the space between Hatebreed and Madball soundwise, Sworn Enemy have dropped ten tracks of pure, streetwise rage. From the 9/11 tribute/revenge track "Sworn Enemy", to fighting everyday life with "These Tears", Sworn Enemy reinvents the wheel of beatdown NYC hardcore. Avoiding any of the trapings that some hardcore bands, both new and old school, can fall into, Sworn Enemy brings something fresh to the table. With just enough metal behind their sound to draw in anyone that digs heavy crunch, Sworn Enemy will be pulling hordes of new listeners to be tested in trial by fire in the pit at their shows. Buy this cd, because, to quote the Enemy boys, "THIS IS AS REAL AS IT GETS!"
