Holy crap...I haven't heard anything this indescribable in a long time. Where to begin...The Mass are pretty much...crazy. On their 2nd album they go from stoner doom, to punk, to thrash, to jazz, to hardcore, to death metal, to old Pink Floyd, to suddenly grooving with a saxophone all in the same tune. Heh, these guys are fucking awesome. It's complex and progressive, but it grooves. It's hard to explain without hearing it..if you're into extreme metal with mellow jazz breakdowns then check this out...did that make sense? I love how the Bay Area continues to spit out a really good original band every few years...check out Secret Order Of Tusk also.
