Clutch's latest offering is analog, raw, upbeat, and of course, rockin'. Parts remind me of "Pure Rock Fury"...in fact, with few exceptions this album is some boogie down, blusey, straight-ahead rock...not too surprising considering the nature of the monster that is Clutch. The occasional organ and harmonica are in full force, and well placed throughout, and you can definately add this to your list of drinking albums. While their first album and "Blast Tyrant" hold the top spots for my favortie Clutch albums, this one isn't too shabby.
