After several line up changes, Deadbird are finally back with a 2nd impressive chunk of doom. Now sporting two former members of Rwake, sludge abounds and the southern rock influence and melodies seem even more pronounced. The first track immediately reminds me of Providence locals Sin Of Angels...slow, pure, melodic, doom. However, the band shows a deeper variety on the rest of the album, even throwing in some punk, an acoustic guitar, and even a slow trippy number.
