Do stoners know good music or what? The tokers over at High Times Records have put together quite a collection here. This comp features 14 tracks of groovy doom rock from stoner rock's finest. Favorites here: Gas Giant - "Too Stoned", Clutch - "Willie Nelson", Nebula - "Into The Void", The Hidden Hand -"Falconstone", Unida - "Left Us To Mold", (gad damn, does John Garcia sound even better now than when he was in Kyuss? Yep.), Orange Goblin - "No Law" (The 'Goblin at their finest), Suplecs - "City Of The Dead", (baaaadass instrumental), High On Fire - "To Cross The Bridge" (Holy crap, this is heavy...run for cover! ahh! sick.) The Formula - "Hello To Oblivian", (another cool instumental...someone likes Hendrix), Corrosion Of Conformity - "It Is That Way" (I hope the rest of their new album sounds this good...killer track), The Mystick Krewe Of Clearlight - "Ride Out" (arguably the best instrumental on the album, Bower Power.), Bottom - "NADAsoul". Definately an album no stoner should be without.
