So here, finally, is the new project from Mike Scheidt, with Scott Headrick on drums and Will Lindsay on bass...and it's faster, crazier, and dare I say heavier than Mike's last project which we know and love as YOB. There are 5 tracks of slow doomy passages surrounded by fast-moving chaotic, thrashing noise, and there's even some melody. The songs are epic, and have the slow, clean trippy sections to zone out to...before caving your face in with some crushing distorted doom. Some familliar guitar effects and vocals are there, but this project is headed in a more flowing direction, and at a bit of a faster pace. I fuckin' dig it.
