Local doomsters Sin Of Angels have unleashed their debut album, and unsurprisingly, it's filled with crushing doomy goodness. There are riffs so slow they're carved in stone, thundering drums, and tortured growls. And this is very important, the songs are well written...mostly solid slabs of sludge with dynamic moody shifts, some bluesy leads, and the occasional speed burst here and there...which makes it all the more fun. "Garden Of Stone" is fucking badass, it starts off all slow and trippy and just crushes for over 5 minutes...so good it's not even funny. If you dig Ocean, Neurosis, or any other form of doom, pick this up!
